Building Superpowers One Hoofbeat at a Time

At Parkwood Therapeutic Riding Center, we offer group lessons designed to build riding skills, confidence, and connection with horses—all in a fun and supportive environment.

Group lessons are held:
-
Monday–Thursday evenings
-
Saturday mornings and afternoons

We welcome riders starting as young as 2 years old, and carefully group classes based on individual ability to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.

What’s Included in Each Lesson:
-
Grooming: Riders learn how to brush and bond with their horse before and after the ride.
-
Tacking & Untacking: Participants are guided through the process of saddling and unsaddling their horse with support.
-
Riding: Lessons focus on building balance, coordination, and confidence in the saddle.
-
Horsemanship Skills: In addition to riding, we teach basic care and respect for horses, promoting responsibility and trust.

Each session is led by qualified instructors and supported by trained volunteers, creating a team-oriented atmosphere where riders can learn, grow, and thrive.

Whether your goal is therapeutic support, skill development, or just a love of horses, our group lessons provide a meaningful and enriching experience.
